The integrated VACAD Editor enables your operators to improve output by creating products or quickly improve and correct the product. The interface is easy to understand with straight-forward functionality. Operators will be able to take full advantage of the VACAD Editor and VACAM after a few days with the Voortman trainers.

Coping is the best application process. The robotic plasma processor can be as close as possible to being an "all-in one" solution. A robot and a plasma unit can handle all kinds of processing, including rat holes and seismic structural connections like jayallan and "dogbone" cuts.

Voortman's V808 robotic thermal cutter machine comes with the VACAM operating program. All machines can speak the same language. The V808 can be used as an integral part of a new layout, with roller conveyors and cross transports connecting to other Voortman processing machine or as a standalone processing centre.

AFD CNC Flange and Plate Drilling Machines are capable of drilling from 6 to 80 mm to 1/4" to 3-1/8" thickness in its own work area. Material is driven onto the table with balls, and then fixed with hydraulic clamping Jaws. Material is positioned to the desired coordinates for drilling/marking/tapping by CNC program and then operation starts.

The automation of marking reduces time and costs in your workshop. With its ability to reach all sides of any material, the V808 marks all four sides of a profile automatically. Even though the V808 can mark only three sides, the assembly workers will still need manual measurements to the fourth side. Voortman’s V808 can accommodate all four sides. This will make it easier to save time and money when assembling your workshop.

Fully automatic profile transport is possible to integrate the machine into a fully automated MSI beam line. The VACAM software controls the sensors and liftables that transport profiles onto the infeed roller conveyor as well as from it. The trading lengths will be used to automatically produce selected products. Cross-transports can handle multiple profiles. This allows the machine to work autonomously for a significant amount of time.

Powerful measuring and clamping systemThe Voortman 808 has a roller feed measuring/clamping system. The fully automated measuring roller feeder system is the most efficient positioning system. It does not need a pusher, gripper or to return home before loading next piece. This saves you hours every week. The maximum position weight of the roller feeder system is 15.000kg/33.000 lbs. This makes it more flexible and powerful.

After installing a machine or production line, Voortman installs a net of safety measures. These safety measures comprise of light curtains, emergency cords and emergency stop buttons. Voortman has made it one of its priorities to deliver a safe production line, yet not hold up production if the operator needs to enter the safe zone. This is accomplished by using gated light curtains allowing loading and unloading while the machines continue processing, and by delivering remote controls with a kill switch that operators can use when carrying out tasks inside the safety zone.
